This will spur even more innovation in the ‘application layer’ including the development of new genetically targeted medicines and in prediction and prevention of common diseases like type 2 diabetes, breast cancer, and cardiovascular disease."

Patrick is the CEO and co-founder of Sano Genetics, a company accelerating precision medicine research into chronic and rare genetic diseases. Their mission is to accelerate the future of personalized medicine.

Prior to founding Sano, Patrick was a researcher at the Wellcome Sanger Institute at the University of Cambridge where he focused on large-scale genome sequencing projects and rare disorders. A University of Cambridge alumnus, Patrick holds a PhD in Mathematical Genomics and Medicine.
