2 Hour Podcast

Picture this...

It’s 3pm on a Thursday afternoon and you have just come off a podcast interview with someone that:

Killed it
Taught you a load of stuff
Is going to be an ideal partner for you and your business
You close Zoom

Record a quick intro, and then upload the audio and video to a Google Drive folder…

And that’s it.

You don’t touch anything else… whilst the episode is produced and promoted… growing your personal and the brand of your business.

That’s all you have to do to run your new podcast.

What we do

All you have to do to realise the insane amount of benefits that you can receive from starting a podcast:

Fame in your niche
Relationships with buyers/partners
Learning about your industry

How?

Because you understand the “2 Hour Podcast” system.

More on that later…

For now, let’s talk about podcasting.

Do you know how many blogs there are? How about YouTube Channels? Well, let me share:

170 million
blogs
40 million
YouTube Channels
2 million
Podcasts
You are still early.
Every business must have a written RSS feed of content (e.g. a blog), but why do so few have an audio RSS feed of content (e.g. a podcast)?Because to be frank, it’s still too complex to:
  • 1

    Decide who will host

  • 2

    Make the audio sound good

  • 3

Get the show live on Apple Podcasts/Spotify etc

Until the “2-Hour Podcast” system was built.

Again, we will get to that… but before, a little bit about me…

An opportunity for us to sell our product to a brand new type of customer: the sales operations manager. So I reach out to a load of them on LinkedIn to see if they would jump on a call so I could learn about them.

Everyone said no.
So the masterstroke was to create the “Sales Ops Demystified” podcast. In a couple of weeks, we had our ideal customers asking to jump on a call with me to be interviewed. Though there was relatively low production quality, we started getting some inbound search traffic from Google as every episode was posted as a blog post on our website…

And then we also were getting some attention on LinkedIn as our guests were sharing.

But then something magical happened…

Our 14th guest on the show was the VP of Sales Operations at a SaaS business that you would know, he came on the show, had a great interview and then randomly got chatting with our CEO on LinkedIn.

4 months later he bought our sales software for 183 of their salespeople.
You are still early.
A £50k deal
in the first year
We immediately made a 9-10x ROI on all the time and money we spent on the podcast.Short-term ROI… but then also long-term brand building benefits…The holy grail of marketing.
So I left the business and have spent the past 4 years optimising this exact podcast process that our 50 employees now deliver for some of the biggest and best B2B businesses in the world.
You can check out our case studies here:

But how have we been able to grow a fully remote business to 70 people in 4 years without raising any funds?

Because we have obsessed with tweaking the process and our internal operations to enable us to offer a service that is both cheaper and better than our competitors.
Without this, we would have likely gone out of business or it would still be me sitting alone running 2-3 podcasts for clients.

And now for the first time...

...we are opening the doors of this podcast system:

Everything we’ve learnt at Fame from running +100 podcasts over 4 years
Giving access to fresh-of-the-shelf software include FameGPT (a custom GPT that has been trained with all our internal working procedures).

It’s called the 2-Hour Podcast

Why the 2-Hour Podcast?

Because once the system is set up and running, you (or your podcast host) will need to spend a total of 2 hours per month running the process.

And this time will be spent just interviewing guests.

Guests that will likely be ideal customers/partners for your business. Or if you aren’t selling anything and just want to grow your audience, then your guests will be people with an audience that they will expose you to when they share the episode.

Why is this important?
Because I know you’re busy. Whether you are a small business owner, influencer or a manager at a business.
The one thing you don’t have is time. You need a system that can be implemented and then run by very proficient but low-cost resources, to maximise ROI.

Frequently Asked Questions

But I don’t have time?

Sure, once the system is set up, you will need to invest just 2 hours a month and close to 100% of this time will JUST be spent building relationships with people that could be customers, partners or could bring you an audience… a pretty good way to spend your time right?

I don’t know if I can host a podcast?

Yep, it can be tricky to start with… but we will be giving you the How To Be An Awesome Podcast Host training course that I personally created after hosting over 300 podcast episodes.

How do I find guests?

There are specific guest outreach strategies that we will share that can be operated by your team member to ensure you have a fresh pipeline of awesome guests ready to jump on your show.

How do I edit the episodes?

Either your team member can do this, though we will also show you how to find awesome freelance editors that will edit your episodes for as little as $25 per episode.

How do I grow the show?

Great question!

We will take you through our 8 Podcast Promotional Pillars to ensure that your show grows a minimum of 10% per month in downloads.

What software do I need?

Sure, see below:

  • To distribute: bCast (this is included)
  • To create written assets: Abney (this is included)
  • To record: Zoom (this is free) or Riverside (this costs $15 per month)
  • To store files: Google Drive (this is free)
  • To manage the process: Any project management software, we use Trello (this is free)
  • To automate: Zapier (this is free)
Who is going to do the rest of the work?

We recommend using a low-cost team member for roughly $7 per hour to set up and run the process for you.

Of course, you can do all the work yourself if you would like!
